Abstract
The author of the sculpture of Saint Peter, which was made in 1828 to the high altar and placed on its gates, is not known. Saint Peter was depicted in a typical iconographic convention as a bearded man in a long robe, holding in his hands the symbolic keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.
