The painting "Adoration of Our Lady by St. Joseph Calasanz" was created together with architectural and sculptural furnishings after 1765. Piotr Kornecki is most likely its author. Saint Joseph Calasanz was the founder and General of the Piarist Order (The Order of Poor Clerics Regular of the Mother of God of the Pious Schools) as well as a reformer of the education system. In the painting in question he is depicted as adoring the Virgin Mary, which is associated with his special devotion to Mary.
