The image of St. John Cantius, located in the parish temple in Kęty is considered, by some researchers, to be the oldest preserved image of the saint. It was originally intended for the chapel of St. John Cantius in Kęty. The painting is characterised by the convention of 17th-century portraits of the Cracovian clergy, exhibited in the sacristy of St. Anne's Church in Cracow.
