The painting of Saint Joseph with the Infant Jesus created by Wojciech Eljasz in the third quarter of the 19th century. Saint Joseph was Mary's betrothed and guardian and protector of Jesus, therefore, he is depicted with Baby Jesus in his arms. He lived in chastity, which is symbolised by a lily twig.
