Abstract
A sculptural group presenting the apparition of Our Lady to Bernadette Soubirous of Lourdes was created after 1883, probably at the end of the 19th or the first quarter of the 20th century. The apparitions took place in Lourdes in 1858. On February 11, Our Lady appeared for the first time to the village girl, Bernadette, in the Grotto of Massabielle. During that year, she appeared to her 18 times.
