The paintings: St. Isidore the Farm Labourer and Communion of St. Stanislaus, were painted together in 1878 by Wojciech Eljasz. The iconography of St. Isidore illustrates the legend about him. When he worked as a farmhand, his master received a complaint that Isidore was not working enough because he was praying too much. When the master spied on him the following day, he saw that while Isidore was praying, an angel was working for him in the field.
