Abstract

The altar, together with statues of the Dominican saints, was created before 1754, probably in the workshop of the Kornecki family. In the iconography, Our Lady of the Rosary is very often accompanied by statues of St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena. The latter one is portrayed in the Dominican habit. Her attribute was a crown of thorns, because she received stigmata.
