Abstract

The baptismal font was probably built in the first third of the 16th century, probably for a new church built in 1529. In the Gothic period, chalice-shaped baptismal fonts dominated. These works were adorned with various types of decorations, although in the area of the Crown, architectural motifs prevailed.
