Abstract
The painting "Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane" was most probably created in the second half of the 19th century. It was re-installed in the finial of the side altar. Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane is one of Passion's themes. It is described in the Gospels of: Matthew, Mark and Luke (Mt 26:36-46; Mk 14:32-42; Lk 22:39-46).
