The painting Apotheosis of St. Barbara was created before 1766. It was probably not until the turn of the 20th century that it was put into the side altar. In iconography, the saint is depicted in a crown and a lush dress, which is related to the social position of her family. St. Barbara's attribute is a chalice with the Host as before her death in confinement an angel brought her Holy Communion. A tower, sword and martyr's palm also appear in the representations of the woman saint.
