Parish priest Michał Kamieński (1715-1734) brought the altar of Our Lady of the Rosary to the church in Gaj. The reredos was made by the wood carver Jan Komoniecki in 1718. Around 1873 new paintings were placed in it. The reredos represents the aedicula type, i.e. a one-axis and one-storey reredos with the altar finial located on a pair of structural supports, most popular in the 17th and 18th century. It formally refers to works created at the beginning of the 18th century in Lesser Poland.
