Abstract
The painting displaying Annunciation was most likely made in the second half of the 18th century. It was later re-installed into the altar finial made in 1899. The displays of Annunciation are based on the Gospel of St. Lucas (Lk 1:26-31), and on the painting in Gaj the scene is presented in the iconography traditional for modern European paintings.
