The altar was made by Stanisław Ciężadlik (1912-1996), folk's artist, painter, sculptor, musician, scenographer, creator of puppets and a puppeteer. This talented artist made a range of works in the church in Kasinka Mała: two altars, baptismal front, confessional and two portraits of parish priests. The altar in question was made in neo-gothic tradition, related to medieval triptychs with foldable side wings, which is indicated by the diagonally set side axes. The work is decorated with neo-gothic forms, but also with elements inspired by modern art in the form of geometric details.
