Abstract
The side altar was created in the sculpture workshop of Wojciech Maciejowski between 1945 and 1950. In his work, Maciejowski uses stylish elements taken from earlier eras (especially Baroque), at the same time using the experience of Art Déco and modernism. The sculptures made in his workshop have characteristic slender proportions and sharp-edged folds of robes. The artist probably died in the late 1940s, so the side altar in Kasinka Mała is one of his last works.
