Abstract

The votive image commissioned by Piotr Komorowski in 1630 depicts a story of his healing by, at present, St. Stanisław Kazimierczyk and plans for the future thanksgiving foundation. It was painted for the Corpus Christi Church in Kazimierz, a city nearby Cracow, currently its district. It hung at the tomb of Stanisław Kazimierczyk, who was buried there.
