Abstract

The 17th-century polychrome depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. A dynamic scene is surrounded by quotes from the "Song of Songs" and Psalm 23. During the restoration work carried out after 2008, its colour scheme, formerly characterised by warm yellowish shades, was significantly changed.
