Commemorative plaque for celebration of four jubilees
Abstract
A bronze plaque by artist Bogusław Langman, made in 1983 from the foundation of parish priest Czesław Świniarski, was hung in the ambulatory of a new church. It commemorates such jubilees as: the assumption of the bishopric by St. Stanislaus, founding of the Pauline Monastery in Jasna Góra and bringing the image of Madonna of Częstochowa, the Jubilee Year of Redemption and the fifth anniversary of the election of John Paul II for the office of pope.
