The painting depicts the scene of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the Holy Trinity - a theme that appeared in the iconography of European and Polish art since the end of the 14th century. In modern art, the expansion of the celestial zone of the representation was particularly characteristic by showing large cloud portions and winged angel heads, as in the work in question. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal the author of the work in Korzkiew. However, one can establish an approximate time of its creation - around 1630-1650, i.e. in the time of creation of the entire altar.
