Abstract

Statues of two bishops were (probably) originally located in St. Anne's altar in the chapel. The altar, together with the sculptures, was most probably made in the workshop of the Kornecki family before 1766. At the turn of the 19th anf 20th centuries, it was transferred to the nave. The statues were placed on the reredos, modelled on St. Anne's altar, which was set in the nave in front of the above-mentioned altar. The statue of saint is extremely similar (from the formal perspective) to the sculptures created in the workshop of the Kornecki family.
