High altar was built by Cracovian artisan Franciszek Maćkowski in 1922. The altar is an extremely interesting work in the artistic activity of this little-known artist. It represents a technical brilliance with a unique composition. The central part of the altar contains a painting of Madonna of Zembrzyce. There is also a painting depicting Saint John the Baptist on its sliding panel, as well as sculptures of saint bishops – Adalbert and Stanislaus – that are placed at the sides of the altar.
