Abstract
Baptismal font cover was made in the second half of the 17th century and it was transferred from the old John the Baptist church in Zembrzyce. It depicts a scene of the Baptism of Christ. The base of the cover is decorated with a motif known as "chasing" - characteristic in particular of the 16th and 17th century art, but repeated also in the 18th century. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal the author of the work.
