The name "crucifix" comes from the Latin word "crucifixus" and means "nailed to the cross." In the nineteenth-century presentation of Christ's feet, in a painting located in the vestibule of the church in Skawina, were nailed separately, which, in modern art, is very rare but it was widely used in the Medieval art solution to the beginning of the eighteenth century.
