Abstract
The statue was probably made in the second half of the 17th century. Probably during the renovation of the church in the years 1903–1914 the sculpture was mounted to a simple altar. The sculpture of Christ is represented in the type of Cristo morte, i.e. Christ is shown as a dead man, after he died on the cross.
