Abstract

A stoup is a tank for holy water placed in the vestibule of the church, usually in the porch. It may be wall-mounted or free-standing, as is this case. The font in question was made in the nineteenth century, most probably in 1856 on the initiative of the priest Ludwik Nawarry.
