Stations of the Cross hanging on the walls of the church in Wawrzeńczyce were composed of figural scenes occupying most of the canvas space and concisely shown against the background of landscape or architecture. The stations were (mostly) commissioned by parish priest Jacek Langer in 1883, as evidenced by the inscription placed on the reverse of the last station, and made in 1883-1884 by Wojciech Eljasz. Stations VI-XI were made by another author; two of them were given by Ludwik Łuczywo in 1896. The composition of some paintings reflects the arrangement of scenes from the commissioned station of the cross made in 1871 for the church in Babice.
