A painting of St. Nicholas was created in the first quarter of the 18th century. Perhaps it was originally located in the finial of the high altar. At the turn of the 20th century, it was probably re-mounted in the finial of the Marian altar located in the chapel. St. Nicholas, was the Bishop of Mira, thus, he is presented in attire in accordance with this dignity. The characters and attributes accompanying the saint refer to the many miracles and legends associated with his life.
