The predella was most probably created in the first quarter of the 17th century, as part of the non-preserved altar. Before 1916, it was re-mounted to the St. Anne's altar. The theme of predella decoration, depicting angels with arma Christi, concerns the Passion, therefore, it probably originates from the previous altar with the image of the Crucified Christ.
