Lenten cloth with the representation of St. Mary Magdalene was made in the 18th century. The scene depicts a saint performing penance who is identified with a sinner (prostitute), born-again after meeting Jesus. Only few Lenten cloths have preserved in Poland, thus of Orava works are particularly popular.
