Abstract

The history of the painting in question and the altar where it is placed remain unknown. The work may have been created at the end of the 19th century. Its author remains unknown. The Holy Trinity is depicted in the traditional iconographic type in which God the Father is showed as an old man with a triangular halo, Christ as a young man with a cross in his hand, visible wounds and an open book with letters "A" and "Ω", and the Holy Spirit as a dove hovering over them.
