Abstract
The painting with the representation of the Adoration of the Holy Name of Jesus was created by an unknown artist in the 18th century, as evidenced, for example, by the delicate way of painting and pastel, bright colours and the way angels are depicted. The pattern used had already appeared in the 16th-century engravings of Hieronim Wierix and was used for centuries, especially in the circle of Jesuits and communities worshipping Baby Jesus.
