The first church in Piotrowice was mentioned in the years 1325-1327. In 1672, Salomon Piotrowski founded a wooden temple in this place, which unfortunately burned down in a fire. After its demolition, in 1895 the first stone church was built, bearing the invocation of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary.
