The angel statues were sculpted in the 18th century. It is most likely that they once decorated one of the altars in the church in Maków Podhalański. They are presented as adoring and glorifying God, holding rose garlands in their hands. The author of these sculptures is unfortunately unknown. The placement of the sitting cherubs in pediment sections at the altar final is typical for the majority of altar reredoses, from the modern era to the contemporary times.
