The sculpture was created in the 19th century and was placed on the left altar. According to the iconographic tradition, the angels are dressed in belted tunics and present young men with masculine facial features. They are barefoot to symbolize their readiness to fulfill God's commands, or are wearing Roman-style sandals. Their arms are fixed with wings to symbolize the pace of movement from one place to another. The angels flanking the altar in Maków Podhalański are holding the arma Christi in their hands.
