he sculpture of the Most sacred Heart of Jesus in the church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Krzeszów was made around 1903 in the sculpture workshop of Tyrolean sculptor Ferdinand Stuflesser for the side altar. The funder of the work was a parish priest of the parish in Krzeszów, father Michał Bochenek. Ferdinand Stuflesser was running one of the leading sculpture workshops in Gröden that he founded in 1875. The sculpture is an example of the most popular iconographic variant of presentation of this theme in art, inspired by Italian painting by baroque painter Pompeo Batoni in the church of II Gesu in Rome, and made in Tyrolean workshop at the beginning of 20th century.
