The painting of St. Simon and St. Judas was created in the second or third quarter of the 18th century. It was probably created by the workshop of Szymon Czechowicz. According to the tradition, St. Simon and St. Judas Thaddaeus were brothers. They preached the Gospel together and suffered martyr's death, therefore they are often presented together.
