The painting of Saint Nicholas was created in 1850 in the workshop of Sebastian Stolarski, a painter from Myślenice. It depicts the bishop of Mira, who lived at the turn of the 3rd and 4th century. The attributes in the painting refer to the legends associated with the saint's life. Three golden balls symbolise the gift that Saint Nicholas gave to three poor maidens as a dowry. In turn, the outfit, as well as the staff and the book refer to his pastoral mission while he was the bishop of Mira in Lycia.
