The painting depicting Saint Michael the Archangel was created before 1866 and was intended for the altar of Our Lady of Sorrows located in the Morsztyn chapel at the church. The iconographic pattern for the shot was a painting by Guid Reni under the same title. Unfortunately, the painter had a problem with the proportions of the human body, which indicates that he belonged to a provincial workshop.
