The high altar of the church in Trzebunia, despite popular belief, was not built in the mid-18th century, but rather in the last quarter of the 17th century. This is evidenced by its form and applied ornaments. The altar is characterised by thoughtful composition, compliance with the then fashionable style and good artistic quality.
