The painting "St. Joseph and the Child" was most probably created in the first half of the 19th century. It was probably purchased for the church by father Ludwik Kusiorowicz, a parish priest of the parish of Gdów in 1842-1888, as a sliding panel of the painting located in the high altar. The work relatively belongs to the late Baroque convention. It depicts St. Joseph, who was Mary's betrothed and guardian and protector of Jesus. Te saint lived in chastity, as indicated by his attribute – lily.
