The painting of St. Joseph was created probably in the first half of the 20th century and was re-fitted to the altar finial in the church chapel in Biskupice. Saint Joseph was Mary's betrothed and guardian and protector of Jesus. He is depicted as an elderly man with a lily in his hand, which indicates chastity. The text visible on the painting comes from the Book of Genesis (The First Book of Moses) and concerns Joseph (Genesis 41, 55). However, the quote was used in the image of Joseph of the New Testament.
