The side altar of St. Sophia might have been made by Antoni and Ignacy Kornecki in the fourth quarter of the 18th century, or only by one of them. In the third quarter of the 19th century, new paintings were placed in the altar. Later, a statue of Christ Crucified was transferred to reredos. Both side altars represent the most popular aedicula type of the 18th century, that is a single axis, single-storey reredos with altar finial, supported by two pillars.
