Abstract
The reredos was listed in the inventory of 1927, therefore, it must have been made before that year. The description indicates that it was an altar of Madonna of Częstochowa with a sliding painting depicting Her, which was removed in the 60s. The structure of the altar is based on the compositional scheme of a triumphal arch, composed of three alcoves, the highest central and lower side ones. It is relatively poor in neo-gothic architectural elements, as pinnacles decorated with crockets were mainly used.
