Abstract
The side altar of St. Peter in the church in Racławice constitutes a unique example of reredoses from the beginning of the 18th century with acanthus ornamentation - characteristic at that time. The following paintings are located in the altar: "Beheading of St. John the Baptist", "St. Andre" and "St. Anthony of Padua" in the altar finial. The funder of the altar, as well as two other side altars in the church, is father Andrzej Strzałkowski whose epitaph and portrait is located on the western wall of the church, under the music choir.
