The church in Koźmice Wielkie was built in 1983-1991. It is a building of modest, architectural forms and mainly modern furnishings. The oldest and most valuable element of the interior design is the high altar from 1862 moved to Koźmice in 1989 from the Church of Saint Clement of Rome in Wieliczka. The church in Koźmice was consecrated by cardinal Franciszek Macharski on 26 May 1991.
