Abstract

The altar of St. Anthony was most probably made in the 1770s by the Kornecki workshop to the Cistercian church in Mogiła. In 1948 it was moved to the church of the Missionaries of La Salette dedicated to St. Norbert at Wiślna Street in Cracow, while in 2006, the Archdiocesan Conservator decided to transport the alter to the newly built church in Tokarnia, where it is still located today. The architecture of the altar in Tokarnia and its sculptural decoration correspond to a formal repertoire used by the workshop of the Kornecki family.
