Abstract
The painting of Our Lady of the Snows was created in the last quarter of the 17th century. Originally it was located in a wooden manor chapel in Tokarnia. In 2006, it was moved to a new church in Tokarnia and placed in the baroque high altar. The painting of Our Lady of the Snows is based on the miraculous icon of Salus Populi Romani, located in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome.
