Abstract

The chancel houses the epitaph plaque of Feliks Boczkowski, a doctor who was the first to notice the beneficial effect of salt microclimate on human health, the author of the dissertation on the historical and therapeutic aspects of Wieliczka. The epitaph plaque is maintained in the Classical style, the way the inscription is placed on the plaque refers to baroque panegyrics.
