The painting was produced by Szymon Sitarski - a painter from Zembrzyce, in 1867. While painting, he used graphics by Gottfried Bernhard Göz created before 1737 which were repeated by Störcklin, Josef Anton Zimmermann around the mid-18th century, as well as by Adam Goczemski in Poczajów at the end of that century. This graphic constitutes an example of a compilation, i.e. a combination of two or more patterns present in the artistic work of François de Louvemont and Peter Paul Rubens.
