Formal characteristics of the statue indicate that it is still gothic, thus its dating may be suggested to the first half of the 17th century. It most probably belonged to the furnishings of the previous church in Grab and was transferred to a new temple after 1742. The statue is shown in the type of Cristo morte, i.e. the dead Christ, illustrating the moment when the Savior died on the cross.
