The crucifix was created in the 19th century, perhaps intended for a garden on the outer wall of a chancel from the beginning. In 1989, the background intended for the Crucified with figures of Mary and St. John, as well as scenes on the side walls, was painted in the chapel. The gardens are a remnant of church cemeteries, located next to pulpits and lanterns for the dead. They were one of those places in the cemetery where people used to gather during each Christmas and pray.
